Hi all, On Saturday next, May 9th, Éire Óg players are doing a Dawn to Dusk Run, in the hope of raising as much money as possible for Pieta House.

Every player will run 5kms and then “virtually” to the next player from 5am straight through to 9pm Saturday evening. Once you’ve competed your part of the run, post a photo using the hashtag #EODawnToDusk and/or tag us @eireogcork on either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Pieta House is a fantastic charity who do great work locally and countrywide. Like all charities, Pieta House rely heavily on donations and fundraising to continue to provide their services.

Traditionally Pieta House have their "Darkness into Light" walk at this time of year, but unfortunately due to Covid 19 and the restrictions currently in place it was postponed this year. This is the inspiration for our "Dawn to Dusk" run. We would like to encourage all club members and supporters, other clubs in the area, friends groups, and members of the public to get involved on Saturday with their own 5k walk,run or cycle. (This should be done under the current guidelines: on your own or members of your own household, maintaining physical distancing and keeping within 5km of your house.)
